I didn't think it was possible to improve on my Spiced Ginger cake until I added Bailey's infused buttercream. This is something you definitely need in your life!
This recipe is so quick and easy you will want it in your kitchen every week.
Just one bit of advice before you start:
When you are melting the butter with the treacle, syrup, sugar and water, don't heat it up too quickly or too much. The mix needs to be just warm enough to just melt the butter. if it gets too hot you will have to put it to one side and wait for it to cool down enough to use to make the batter.
